Scholarship

Complete and submit the application online by February 10, 2012. Late applications will not be accepted. Complete and submit your essay online by April 1, 2012.

Recipients of scholarship awards will be notified by April 20, 2012.

Follow up on your initial application by submitting an essay of at least 250 words describing your experience volunteering at the library and what the library means to you. Your essay and one letter of recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor, coach or other positive adult role model must be received by April 1, 2012. Both the essay and letter of recommendation should be submitted at the same time as attachments to your email. The Friends of the Library will verify the required completion of 75 volunteer hours. Volunteer hours must be completed by May 4, 2012.
